5 – SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN

This song dates back to October 1934, and until this day it’s played all around the world, in many different versions, recorded by many different artists.

4 – HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS

Released in 1944, this song is part of the musical Meet Me in St. Louis, and no matter when or where, if it comes on the radio, you’re going to feel like there are cookies in the oven, a huge Christmas tree in the living room, and snowflakes falling outside.

3 – JINGLE BELL ROCK

This one is more upbeat, and although it is from 1957, for the nineties kids, Jingle Bell Rock became well known because of the movie Mean Girls, released in 2004.

2 – LAST CHRISTMAS

If you get into a store during Christmas time, be certain that this song is going to be playing. Released by Wham! (a British duo) in 1984, this is probably the one with more recorded versions out there. A true classic, for sure.

1 – ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU

Immortalized by the Christmas queen Mariah Carey, this song is the “youngest” of the bunch, released in 1994. All I Want for Christmas is You is part of the album Merry Christmas, also recorded by Mariah.
